Distant Friends

Sometimes friends that are far away can be your best friend He lives in Malta Which is 7,609 km in distance from where I am I came to PoetrySoup in Jan of 2016 Obviously, at first, I didn’t know him But soon it became clear to me that this man Was special…a poets poet He was there from the beginning Always the first to comment Even other people’s poems…first to comment Or at least he was there And then his poems Full of flair life drama comedy He had been through a lot Like I was watching a marathon of movies Crisp clean writing…I can’t recall any mistakes Sometimes I would abandon him in commenting Still, do…but he is always there I love his bantering and dry humor Never had many friends in my life (violin music lol) If I did…they somehow took advantage(more violin music lol) He is the older brother I never had (first of four brothers) The sister I always wanted (metaphorically speaking lol) (-curtain about to drop or mike) (((((((((((((Victor Buhagiar)))))))))))))) …I’ve made many other great friends here…my poetic sisters and brothers Such beautiful poetic souls…love you all (violin comes to a screeching stop) Sept.21.2019 Pick a Friend on Soup Sponsored by: Bobby May Placed 1'st Thank...You

Victor is one of my all-time favorite people in the universe, even though I have not met him "in person". But I think this site helps you know a person better than many people ever know each other in person anyway. Well done! Wow! Great job! And to Victor. HOORAY!

A gentleman I highly regard as a dear friend. He is definitely a "Poet's poet" which to me means all poets look up to his words as very meaningful and admire his brilliant talents as a writer.
