Dismantled Rainbow

Fragile resolution aspiring to capture the rainbow
weaves the tapestry of life with spectral ribbons,
turns into a self-destructive psychosis syndrome
that fails to dispel the illusion in cloud of dreams
for it has hypnotic leverage on my mind in storm.

Wedged by the splitting bevel of the slashing time
a frail fragment of failure I feel sliced from my life,
scattered on the path yet untraveled to the rainbow
that lies dismantled in debris of derelict dreams now,
disappearing down the deep sinkhole of dusky oblivion.
