Dinner at the White House Theodore Roosevelt a robust, Republican president had to Booker T. Washington a dinner invite sent. Roosevelt was progressive for his day and the segregated south had much to say.

Wow! Janice, I didn't know that Franklin Roosevelt invited Booker T. Washington, to have dinner at the white house. That had to be a big then. Thanks for sharing this info. Congratulations on your fine win. It was well deserved:-) Alexis
