Different Hearts, Beat On Different Strings

How different we are
And in the way we act
In love and romance
A heart filled pact
 
It can start out so good
To a thunderous applause
And fall by the wayside
Just because
 
Corners are turned
Sometimes we go the same way
And sometimes round the same corner
We can go slightly astray
 
At the start of it all 
To the table we bring
But somewhere along the road
Different hearts, beat on different strings

James I love the title.. just sad how your poem goes but then wouldn't it beautiful that there are times where different hearts beating on different string complement making the sound incredibly unique and unforgettable.. :)~olive eloisa xxx

Oliz, it's lyrics from a track by 'Rush' a Canadian Rock Band. My heart, with another's heart have different beats on the same string, and the tune played is wonderful as my recent holiday graced us with the tune. Our said hearts will always remain on the string found. Hugs forever little one, James xxx

It is sad when two in love go in different pathways..but somewhere along the road,different hearts beat on different strings whispering one sound..lets hope..beautiful love poem ..a reality in many ways..touched me deep--Charma
