Did We Just Blink
Did we just blink, as our heart wept
We scarred the face of space
That the fault is ours, we accept
So we slow down life’s pace
We fall to rise again
With desires to rest lain
Breaking free from fear’s chain
Let’s doublethink
Did we just blink
