Did Jesus Ponder Our Limits

Jesus laid back on the grass,
peeked at the moon and stars,
an eternity away from his tiny eyes.
O inhabit the stars - eyes of Jesus!

Did he wink? Did he smile?
Did he wave to the moon and stars
and his undercover angels?
O liveliness of the one who saved us!

Chained to the earth,
unable to reach that high -
did Jesus ponder our limits?
O inhabit the moon - the whites of his eyes!

Lord of all creation,
mesmerized by our border -
he saw through our eyes.
O skyline - we yearn for Christ’s return!

Gorgeously done Kim. No surprise, especially this close to Easter!

Kim, what a powerful poem. We all wonder what Jesus thought about while He was here on earth. I like your last line. "We yearn for Christ's return." Enjoyed, Blessings ~ Debra
