Did I Miss You

Did I miss you?
Probably not,
When you are my heart,
Missing you will be like missing the beat of my heart.

Did I miss you?
Maybe I did.
When I am in love with your heart,
Your bodily presence is the thought of the past.

Did I miss you?
Of course, I did.
When I don't hear your sweet caring voice,
I am lost in your thought’s whole night.

Did I miss you?
I can never miss you.
Even if I missed you for a moment,
The pang of such loneliness will be sweet thing to relish.

When love is too intense, even missing can be a sweet pain. Lovely poem.

It’s natural to miss a dear one. It can’t be helped. They are locked up in our hearts. Great poem, Jay.

Creative poem, Jay. Even missing someone is a blessing through the memory of them. Thanks for sharing your poetry with us, my friend. A poet friend in Texas, Bill
