Did God Offend You Today?

You say that God offended you today Well, bless your little heart Now, that is a down right shame You think that you ought to have it your way Because you are so smart I am not sure that is the name of the game There is no God, some of you say He does not exist, that he is dead But he still makes you welcome He bents over backwards and goes out of his way He is big and mean, that has been said We that love him, know that he is awesome You mock him, ridicule his name And worship the one that lies Believe in all his fantasy Say that God is all to lame But, you are still perfect in his eyes You are just part of a age old conspiracy You claim that you feel no shame And that you are so right You will beg for A prayer on Judgment Day Be all alone and not the same Blind people never see the light Did you offend God today?

Your sarcasm and harshness is, sadly, quite unlike the One you claim to represent. It would seem to be a manifestation of self righteousness and outright meanness. Such condemnation will gain no converts to the One Who said, "I came not to condemn, but to save." Wounded Healer

a great poem, it is true those who do not believe are quick to blame our Lord if anything bad happens, we should put God first in all that we do, a great powerful write we should come to him everyday and be humble, God bless you from diane
