Dewed

How lucky I am that she loves me! How blessed am I with him to be! What does she see in me, I ponder. Why does he love me, I wonder. I’m no hunk, just a lean machine. I’m no beauty, perfect or pristine. Kind of ordinary; a garden variety pal. Just a bespectacled, crazy-hair gal. Quiet I am, a typical textbook introvert. My nature that of the classic extrovert. She makes me feel special, unique. He inspires me my mind to speak. Her smile sends my heart a-flutter! His grin leaves my mind a-clutter! That gaze of hers is pure hypnotism. That look of his banishes any schism. I live for her hugs, her warm embrace. Yearn I constantly for him, my saving grace. The yin to my yang, that is she: The heaven to my earth, he is key: Soul solace, the reason I am whole. Refreshing drops of dew upon my soul.
