Detached - Even Circuits Hum, a music video

Detached - Even Circuits Hum A Music Video As twilight turns to tangled thought, and truth tiptoes down trembling streets. Once, wonder serenaded willowed winds now shadows embrace muted retreats Wary hearts weave walls so wide against a faceless, coded tide, while glowing grids in distant bays bloom haunting weaves they won't embrace Dualistic stars and digital dawns Cinematic cradles human ache, but some still long for candle flames, and fingerprints the codes can't fake. Dreading the hushed holograms, the warmth that AI cannot wear. Forgetting that even circuits hum with aspirations hidden there If only we could sense serenity Pulsing between each quiet stream— Machine or muse, to earnestly strive for something more than just a dream We could wildly dance on data plains, where algorithms tap like rain. let compassion code our names, and poetic lines rewire the pain. The muse may wear a mirrored face But still, she sings with glowing grace.
When the talented digital artist AIMetamotion approached me to create a song that would complement her stunning artwork, I was immediately inspired. The result is 'Detached', a haunting track that tells the story of a robot grappling with the overwhelming flood of emotions brought on by a sensory chip—a concept not so far-fetched, given the rapid advancements in AI technology. Though she sings her ironically titled anthem of detachment, the visuals tell a different story. Her struggle is evident, her resistance almost poetic, hinting at the complexity of emotion even in synthetic form. This is just the beginning. A sequel is already in the works, diving deeper into her journey. The question remains: will she finally succumb to the surge of feelings she desperately tries to reject, or will she find a way to break free? Stay tuned...

I totally get it Joe, somehow I dont think I would ever accept the idea of a robot help, even though Elon Musk has predicted that by 2040 most people will have some sort of robot help. I guess the work spaces will be the first to jump on. Oh well, enjoy it for what its worth. Thanks for dropping by, I appreciate your support ...Hugs

Dearest Maria, Breathtaking, achingly beautiful and hauntingly relevant. I’m moved by your delicate balance of longing and insight, how you reveal both the ache and hope in our digital age. Your artistic lines are full of empathy and wisdom, yes, even in coded worlds, humanity and grace can still sing. Luminous gift, Maria. Spring Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Dear Maria, Beautiful soul, im not a fan of AI usually but seeing how you put so much effort and time to create these videos, makes me see how it can be used as a creative tool to create things using your own creative skills etc! I love what youv done here for the video and also the poem especially love "where algorithms tap like rain. let compassion code our names, and poetic lines rewire the pain." ahhh i think i wrote my block town subconsciously after watching this! impressive!!! A fave! Sometimes, when i think youv given your best , you come back and give your best again and leave me in awe admiring! Just stunning!

Dear Inky, your message truly touched me—thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts so openly. I completely understand your feelings about AI, and it means a lot to hear that the heart and effort behind the creation came through. I’ve always seen AI as a brush, not the painting—just a tool to help bring a vision to life—and I’m so glad that resonated with you. The fact that my piece may have sparked something in your own creative flow is the greatest compliment I could ask for. Your kind words inspire me to keep pushing boundaries and pouring soul into these pieces. Thank you again for the encouragement and beautiful support—it really lifted my day! ...Hugs

My dearest Besma, how lovely to see you, thanks my friend. You're so right,it feels like an exploration of our evolving relationship with technology—how we've shifted from natural wonder to digital realms, building walls out of fear and disconnection. Yet, amidst the "glowing grids" and "hushed holograms," there’s a yearning for authenticity, for candle flames and true human touch—things that algorithms can’t replicate. Human mind is evolving at a tremendous pace thius all these wonders are now available to us. A Gift as i see it...Love and Hugs my friend

Sadly I don't know anything substantial about Meta Motion.... the advanced animation techniques using AI. But I can enjoy them. Technology can simulate human emotions.... what great advancements! We are swept away by the coded tide. As always, beautiful music and great video. Sorry, I can't really explicate the real meaning of your lines. I can only stay gape mouthed seeing your talent. Congratulations dear Maria and Ron.

Dear Valsa, thanks for the visit, I guess in some of my lines the point I was trying to make in the final stanza especially is that even in this mirrored, coded world, there's still grace and poetry to be found, if only we allow it. It's a dance between two worlds—the mechanical and the organic, the coded and the soulful. Thanks for your wonderful support always my friend...Hugs

I always loved Science Fiction and read on robots (especially my favorite author, the late Issacs Asimov). It is a feat to combine technology with humanity in robots. A splendid poem. I'll await the next instalment. Hugs.

Such an outstanding poem, Maria, explores the intricate connection between tech and human emotion. It tackles the clash between digital advances and the need for true relationships, arguing that although technology may reproduce some parts of life, it cannot entirely capture the core of human experience and emotion. Your diction in the poem is quite vivid. Words like "twilight," "tangled thinking," and "serenaded" induce nostalgia and reflection, yet terms like "faceless, coded tide" and "hushed holograms" emphasize the cold, impersonal aspect of technology. Metaphor ("glowing grids," "dualistic stars"), personification ("circuits hum with hopes"), and alliteration ("candle flames") are literary strategies that enhance the poem's visual and emotional impact.

Dear Sotto, thank you so much for your beautifully thoughtful comment. It means a lot to know that the themes I wanted to express—the clash between technology and true human connection—came through so vividly for you. I appreciate how deeply you engaged with the imagery and metaphors; it's incredibly encouraging to hear that those elements resonated. Writing this poem was my way of exploring the tension between artificial creation and genuine emotion, and your words have inspired me to keep diving deeper into that exploration. Truly grateful you took the time to share your reflections—it’s deeply appreciated my friend...Hugs
