Destroyer -About a Poet-
who is this devastator?
tears brought freely to my skies,
slipping drops learn to fly,
sliding, falling, down ivory,
to land apon gently smileing lips,
destruction comes with beauty,
painted lips in colored blood,
emeralds shinning mischievous glint,
waves of dark night hiding skin,
stare out to the oceans path,
horizons meet the lines that laugh,
colors meet, to blend perfection,
wondering. . .
see a face, see a stare,
do you know who lies behind it there?
can you see past the walls?
or for you, do they so suddenly fall. . .
claim to be a destroyer,
claim to be a critic,
thus far i see a truthful woman or man,
thus far, i see no tricks. . .
in my mind i create a face,
though through my eyes i see none,
who is this destroyer,
who understood my hurt and love?
