Destiny
Destiny
A majestic mountain top towering over the royal blue expanse
A haunting, invisible presence lurking between the mountain peaks
A spectrum of golden light shedding its brilliance towards the earth
Nature celebrating its gifts
Suddenly, a fork emerges in the leafy path
Two smiling trails beckon for exploration
Which one will lead to destruction?
Which one will result in an earthly paradise?
They both hold an enigma to solve
Which one should I select?
Is it pre-destined or is it spontaneous?
Confusion grapples me
As I am stilled in thought
So much to consider
The gravity of each decision
The weight of the consequences
Mustering up the courage
I choose a path
Remembering that the road I will take is the right one
My regrets dissolving into nothingness
