Destiny

It's probably best you don't read my work,
For I know there's more bad than good.
If only you could feel what I could,
I know you'd understand why I would.
Giving up,
Or giving in...
I now know,
My life's a sin...
Pushing forward just cannot be,
For I know my destiny...
To just sleep,
Peacefully...

David Crandall December 3, 2025 at 9:27 PM I hope so. One thing I feel certain of. Your life is not a sin. But I understand writing to get feelings out. I write what comes to mind, and often it has something to do with dying. I'm old (67), but not old enough or unhealthy enough to think of that, but I guess I have a hidden fear, and writing helps me deal with it. Sometimes saying some thoughts out loud makes the hurt a little less... But thank U... I am ok... For now...
