Destiny
Destiny slacks his jaw,
As I prance around my room,
Bare feet patter at the floor,
Destiny bellows and screams ,"ACTION!"
"But my heart aches," I retort,
Limbs tied with fastening tension,
Destiny turns its back to my sight,
An enchanting mist settled on my soul,
Perhaps I shall try - just for tonight,
I stacked flesh upon flesh,
To gather a steadfast silhouette,
meat hardened on my bones,
I must break the chains,
To pay the debt,
Day upon day, I paint with my tears,
I destroy what is mine,
To make up the years,
And my Magnum Opus complete,
I stood on my feet,
A smile beamed so proud,
Was futile to dare so loud.
My friend did not return,
Destiny lost it's burn,
Cruel is the brand on my skin,
God damns my sin,
A sloth of a man,
An example to men,
A sloth cannot love,
A sloth is our Jupiter,
Wishing to be a star, above.
