Romans 15:13 (KJV) “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Risking a heart,
Falling like autumn’s leaves,
Breathless, dancing,
Wistful as the stirring of wind,
Erasing the doubt,
Gambling with the forthcoming…
Risking a dream,
Stirring prayers – it takes faith,
To believe, just believe…
Silence flows, gentling the moments,
While floods of kindness whisper,
Focused on the prospect,
Love that lasts, a promise,
A chance…
Risking a smile,
Bleeding light into the eyes,
Shimmering with laughter,
Kindness washing away all the past,
Wonders, refreshing as the dawn,
Clear, coolness – dazzling,
Sparkling like the spirit of love…
Sweet love….
Risking a feeling,
Gasping – blessing, listening,
Guiding the passions,
Harmonizing, rhythmic, a song…
Singing to the aching,
Singing all night long,
Praising, simply praising…
Risking a hope,
Where the hopelessness has born…
Darkness and fear, tears
Repelling all the light, the joy, the gentle,
Resisting all the desires,
Courage under fire…
Hope, hope – desperate hope…
Finally, alive inside the soul who knows,
It takes a touch of faith,
A hint of endless grace,
A stroke of believing, just believe….
And, hope comes to life,
Inside the heart who decides,
Though it seems despairing, all the hope…
It is there, rising from the ashes,
Blessing the soul who simply believes –
With God, hope is an inevitable thing!
