DESPAIR
Dark night
outside
Only
lanterns
shed light
The cold
creeps up
my spine
How long
before
daylight
will warm
my soul
my heart
my core
so hard
Today
she kicked
me out
I hurt
I'm lost
alone
what do
I do?
I hold
my dog
sole source
of warmth
We'll find
a home
We will
We will
I'm sure...
The world
Is vast
Somewhere
Will be
A home
that lasts
That loves
Welcomes
I'm sure...
