Desires (03)
Dark mistress of desires,
look deep into her eyes,
and my lustful vision tires.
A vacuum of lonely cries,
when a cold night embraces
only me in the empty spaces,
forgotten in the echo of her ecstatic sighs.
Dark hair scattered across my chest,
her heart shattered in her breast.
Beautiful, deep windows searching mine,
irresistibly inquiring the moon’s shine.
Numbed tongue, unable to speak,
Better it could feel,
searching inside her cheek.
The desire of an impossible love,
as Romeo did seek,
did from me my will and wishes steal.
Doubtless, time and distance will reveal
its impossibility, and longing for unattainable
love will congeal.
