Designated Driver
remembering
i blurringly looked
over from i'm now
in the passenger
seat but our eyes
didn't meet she
was consintrating
on the road before
us and i was just
drunk that night
but not just that
night but every
time when she'd
see me and so
began an end
ing and another
ding came from
the dashboard
a warning that
would end up
being low air
pressure result
ing in a flat tire
as she pulled
over and went
over in her mind
it's situation time
and time to react
without thinking
as i was slowly
sinking in my seat
three sheets to
the wind as my
ship was sinking
suddenly she
before opening
the door to find
the spare in the
trunk to change
the flat
kissed me not
on the cheek
but the lips
saying don't
worry i'll be
back
for you
