Desert Winds

There's a tree that's native to this desert land, an umbrella tree but nothing like a palm. Thin leaves are vibrant green , and when the wind stirs them they sing. Bare pole trunks, tall to offer shade, but me...I have to go out there and saw them down, before they uplift the foundations of everything.
