Depth of Silence

In the noise of the perpetual commotion Voice of hysteria feels touch of calmness Serene sentiments sink slow unexpressed In unreachable depth of the mute mind. When the cacophony outside finally stops The unsaid becomes the sound of silence That goes where it finds the desired niche Strikes softly the known chord of harmony The voice rises to say what wasn’t yet said From the depth of silence. In chaotic space of crumbled relationships Sentiments spiraled where they once grew Many feelings act in the kaleidoscope show In frozen depth of unfeeling heart hollow. When the storm stops on the apocalypse It becomes the sheath of stalled silence That spreads where it finds wanted place Invites there the simmering summer winds Warm emotions well up the dormant feelings From the depth of silence.
