Depression

DepressionDo you ever feel that nobody cares?

That people walk past and do nothing but stare?

Depression is the deepest depths of dark

When your the bait, and the worlds a shark

When you look at my life I should applaud my life

I’m solving mum and quite a good wife!

I guess really I should applaud

But with this illness you can’t play that chord!

You go so far and there’s no turning back

You reach for the pills and unscrew the cap

You down some alcohol and a handful of pills

Praying that one of them eventually kills

But wait come back what are you doing STOP!

Look at everything you have got

To someone you are their entire life!

You are a mother and a wife!

Your husband adores you and so do your sons

So does your dad and so does your mum

As long as that voice keeps telling me stop

Il try to evaluate everything I’ve got
