Dependent
This world is crazy,
So many paths,
Not sure which one to go down.
But no matter how happy you could make me,
So scared I think I should be alone right now.
So many guys ask me out and I think its just a shame,
My heart keeps me on lockdown,
My minds says they're all the same.
I'm just another "pretty face",
Until the next girl comes along.
Goodbye is not something that I can take.
I've tried my heart,
I've gave it my all.
But it's just too fast how I may fall,
For all the wrong people.
I'm not my own best friend,
Too often I depend on love to cure the emptiness I feel.
But in this world now,
I doubt there's an existing love that is real.
I protect myself,
But from what? My heart can't be broken any more.
