So what did Trump do with the gold?
"Why nothing at all!"  we are told
If nothing was found
That hole in the ground
Leaves taxpayers out in the cold!

He's still collecting "gold," Rico. In the past three minutes, I had two calls from Trump's "campaign," seeking donations. He will use the money either for his own future campaign or to elect lawmakers who will do his bidding. The gold goes to the lemmings, and there are many... Hugs, carolyn

I do not believe they found "7-9 tonnes" of gold, but what they did find required armoured lorries to haul away and left insufficient material to fill up the hole, leaving taxpayers to bite the bullet. I suspect Gershon-the-Sleuth will provide more details!
