Demons in Disguise

When Satan sought to deceive Eve,
he conceived an ingenious plan.
Of all the creatures he could choose,
the subtle serpent was his ruse.

When Eve did hear the serpent speak,
this surely did her interest peak.
She had no clue it was Satan,
disguised in such a charming way.

Demons are fallen angels who,
rebelled in an attempted coup,
against the government of God
lead by Satan their chosen head.

Today they roam around disguised,
in ways and forms we least suspect.
They work to steal, kill, and destroy
the children of their hated foe.

Behind the idols that men serve
the demons work to snare their prey.
Distract their minds from the true God
and convince them that they are gods.

Demons invade natural drives
God built within the human soul.
For pleasures pure and undefiled,
they serve addictions that destroy.

Unbridled sex and drugs galore
are demons disguised as what is fun,
and once their victims eat the fruit
the work of death invades their soul.

Chaos and destruction are tools
that demons use, to hide from view.
And when their evil work is done,
men label them as acts of God.

Behind diseases of all kinds,
demons may lurk and do their work.
Possessed by demons bent to kill
their victims suffer without clues.

Men move from victims to victors
when they reclaim their first estate
by choosing to submit to God
and living by His perfect will.

Excellent poem. The message is great. If demons were ugly looking they wouldnt be able to entice people to do their will. They and be extension sin look good to the eye much as the forbidden fruit look to Eve.
