There was a time When I couldn't handle it When people chose to walk away It would be nice to know The reason They dismantled everything But in life I know that I am not owed anything And that in a one sided friendship There is only pain for me to gain So no explanation is needed Nor am I owed a reason I learned that human love has conditions And that unconditional love comes JESUS I am tired of the strings attached To things that should be given freely When your time for me becomes non existent I know that my GOD will never leave me Or forsake me
