Democracy Takes a Beating

   Attending an ‘SDS’ meeting
      Watched ‘Democracy’ take a beating

Listened to strident, long-haired voices denounce the USA
shilling for Marx, Hegel, and Lenin all the way

As for ‘law and order,’ it was ‘Kill the Fuzz.’ ‘Off the pigs’
SDS ‘big bad wolves’ sure got in their digs

   "Boycott Israel, the apartheid state"
Accusations against South Africa could wait...

‘Systemic racism, colonial imperialism, a fascist President’
The SDS in 1969 ~ blazing trails for today’s arguments…

Yes It is scary but students are passionate about this issue and the president, so long as they don't make the mistake of voting for trump. Blessings Jennifer

Hi Gershon, what's sadly happening at Yale, Columbia, and other U.S. colleges is frightening. What was then is tragically now. Prayers for persecuted Jewish people. Am Yisrael Chai. ~

60's on your mind? It's said, if you remember the 60's you weren't there, ha. If it weren't for the damn Vietnam war and the trumped-up Gulf of Tonkin resolution, America wouldn't have been involved with that colonial war and there would not have been an SDS and so much of the turmoil that you are referring to. Saw the news today 4/23 on the Columbia University protest-- sich!

We should never be fearful of mobs. They are the true cowards. I hope we get America back soon. We have shelter at two oceans. Why is this here?
