Ooh. You've really captured that moment before it all slips away. Oy. Well-penned, Caren. Take good care, Gershon

My mom got dementia in her eighties, heartbreaking to watch her as she deteriorated She lived with us and recognized us but had an imaginary lover, and the whole 'love affair' became the focus of her life. She would cry all day and nothing or no one could console her. She fell and broke her ankle which meant she had to be in bed or a wheel chair, and developed the most horrific bed sores. She passed on a few months later. A very sad condition which you describe perfectly Blessings Jenn.

Thank you Jenn. It is a horrible ending for many.
