If I ever said things I shouldn’t
I’m sorry
For doing things I shouldn’t
I’m sorry

Trying my best
(No, you’re not)
Convincing myself
Shame on my part

Loving you was easy
(Who says? damn fool)
(Don’t even try)
(You’re no better from the start)

A lie is a lie
Moments of regret
Bitterness of truth
(It is what you get)
