Delightful Defense

DELIGHTFUL DEFENSE my girl talked too much so I kissed her ruby lips the silence was grand ……………………………………………… This Haiku was inspired by the great old, depression-day, chuckle – “She wouldn’t kiss me in the canoe, so I paddled her back.”

Yoie, maybe she didn't wish to tip the canoe and swim to shore, Daver? A "DELIGHTFUL" write on "DEFENSE". You'd be a champion in Martial Arts.:) Wishing you the best!! Mikki

Enjoyed your work..Got a chuckle..Would a young man consider her for his bride if she talked too much?..Your presence at my work was thought provoking..The school where I attended first grade is know a an apppartment complex for senior citizens..It was a three story building but one was basement..My high school is now a government complex...Sara

wow, Daver, I love this one from you. I would call this one senryu though because it is about people, not nature. EXCELLENT!

That is a good, effective way of keeping her quiet. This is short and very sweet in the descriptive department.
