Deeper Into Rohan
On horses
horses as
swift as
the wind
the Rohirrim
ride them into
battle
They are
bold men
who ride
without fear
into the heart
of
the
Shadow
their steeds
are so swift
that the transformed
wizard (Gandalf the White)
chooses a mount
from
their
stables
Theoden -freed
of the cobwebs of defeat and
despair
now rides at
the head
of
mighty
warriors
the sons and
even the daughters
of
Rohan
were born to
ride into battle
Let their banners
unfurl
Let their swords reflect
the sunlight
which shines
down on them
Today we
may see blood-red ground
Tomorrow will
be
the better
for that
Ride, Rohirrim
Follow your king
and bring him glory!
