Deep Within
Somewhere deep within the soul
There lies an untapped power
That's just waiting to break free
Waiting for the right moment
For that resolution
That awakens one's true potential.
It's a far way down
In the curious rabbit hole
To dive right into the core
That rests within the heart
So close, yet so far away
For the path to such a treasure
Is filled with obstacles to overcome
This is the trial one must face
If he wants to claim himself.
Diving deep into the unknown
Can be terrifying for one
For the deeper you swim
The darker it becomes
Like the bottom of the ocean floor.
It shakes your core
Enough to break you down
Surrounded by nothingness
Feeling as though you'll fade
Swallowed up by the darkness
That tries to engulf you.
The darker the darkness
The brighter the light becomes
For just before your eyes
There lies the catalyst
Just in reach.
Will you give up now?
Your just in reach
Keep going forth
With all your strength
Your almost there.
You break free from doubt
Leaving behind all that you know
Casting the shell of mortality aside
Having the resolve within you
To become more than you are
All possible from deep within.
