Deep Voodoo - My Spirit

(New Zealand, Labour MP Damien O’Connor in 2011 called trickle-down economics “the rich pissing on the poor”.) Ross Perot, where did you go? trickle down economy pissing away the poor pissing off the middle class less and less our paychecks pay the bills ironic how when I was still in diapers the rich got taxed lots more Prosperity was King! Protect the rich whose money hides in havens. Make a war - no money to sustain it Let wealth TRICK- TRICKle - down to you and me

They just give the poor enough to keep them quiet Petal but how long. Sad but true words you've written here. Take care, Richard

This is so cleverly done.......I read the longer version first......and I made the same ghastly mistake.........mine was much too long......I was so mad at myself so know how you feel !! But yours stands great alone short or long!

Pope Francis would agree with you that the poor need to be helped. But all those greedy little b-----s don't care if they are scalped. Peace. :)

Yes, middle and lower income group should always be benefited, because rich are always becoming richer and richer. Your contest in " trickle down" has contributed an information too. Good luck. Loved always, bl

I like this. I too wonder what happened to Ross Perot. He is from Texas. If I'm not mistaken he owned The Texas Instruments. Great poem for the contest..... Lucilla

I have heard people who are very intelligent people say a similar statement but not in those terms..They say that welfare is just taking taxes from the middle class funnelling the money back to the rich..Like doctors, pharmacy, grocery, etc. get the checks and benefits that the people get..Great work about the topic..Thanks for stopping by..Sara

I just wish the rich would share some of that money, If each millionaire/billionaire gave a little of there money to each one of us, they would be broke and we would each have about $500 more or less total, ha ha! I loved your observation my friend, this is so true! I wish wealth would trickle down to you and me Andrea! I really enjoyed reading this tremendous poem this morning! What an outstanding piece, will do well in the contest!! Great Work!!
