Death of a Loved One
When they go away, like the setting
Of the sun…
There is a feeling of sorrow,
Longing for the tenderness, the presence
Hope falls silent as the whispers,
Calming, kissing away the anguish,
Expressions of light – gentling the dreams
Who linger, faded in secrets
Shadows slowly reflecting the mysteries,
Promising heartfelt and breathless
Memories
Old photographs bring charming journeys,
Sweetest diaries, histories,
Celebrations of life, lives
Just beyond the tranquility, the flow
Coloring the years in melodies,
Cerulean and warm, soft promises, faraway
Heartbeats, beautiful sighs, rich with
Blessings, pure grace erasing the darkness
With reminiscences, fallen treasures
From the heavens
Laughter, like quiet faith
Reflects the music, dancing in the past
Reassuring, wonders so alive
Surviving the night, the doubt, the dread
Demons of the sin filled quests,
Victorious, the love glows in flames
Passionate, precious, promising
Even in death – though betrayed by
The parting, there is the moment
When going falls beneath the azure,
Floating like silvery clouds,
Glorifying the One who meets us
In the sky
There, in the radiance shining,
Blazing past every pain,
Denying the heartache, comforting
Reflecting the brilliance
Mystery – death is like a storybook’s
Ending…
Destiny unfolding, lifting
Away the stars, the skies, the hopes
So that there is the moment
When the soul flies – like a bird
Forever alive where there is never
Any reason to cry or sigh –
Only the wonder of real life,
Eternity raising the hope to new
Heights – preparing the soul
To know the meaning of true love
Love that never dies –
Love that lives forever,
Love that bring us
Together with the One
Who created us for His LOVE in heaven!
