Dearest Diary

April 5th,2011
Destiny fell upon me tonight
When my lover took my hand
He looked me deep into my eyes
As we lay there on the sand
The waves frolicked against us
But we were far away
In an exclusive world of joy
Then I heard my darling say
"You know that you're my soulmate
I never want to part
So say you'll be my other half
I'm giving you my heart"
He reached into his pocket
Brought out a beautiful ring
His words gave my soul a tug
For he's my everything
As he placed the ring on my finger
I answered yes I will
Fate was sealed then with a kiss
Seemingly time stood still
So Diary,as I write these words
To you my private friend
Just know the ecstasy I feel
And joy that's without end
