"So friendly, and so true. That was our Lucy Loo" By poet Dear sweet Lucy Loo, how I’m missing you. It’s tragic that we had to let you go, but it was something that we had to do. Someone else will love you, and this I know because you have such sweet and loving ways. When I first saw you, I was captured by your beautiful brown eyes. You used to gaze at me with those cute eyes. It makes me sigh recalling how you used to lick my face. Those doggy kisses never bothered me. Recently I gave you my last embrace. Your precious face no longer will I see. May you be fostered soon; you are a pet, dear Lucy Loo, I never will forget.

Andrea, I forget if you foster dogs. We know that letting go can be difficult no matter what the situation. Take care!

No I don't foster animals. If I were single, I would be fostering cats. The crazy cat lady. Now that Lucy has a new home, it's just my beautiful cat Chico and amazingly he is being more loving now with the dog gone!

Oh is this an Aussie? She looks like such a sweetheart. It's so sad that you had to part with her. Hope she gets a very good owner, and best wishes in the contest.

Looks like her picture disappeared. I hate how FB pictures don't stay up. She is Aussie and they found her a home. My daughters husband lost everything to a pyramid scheme and they can no longer afford the second mortgage he put on their house, so she and her adult kids will be moving in. I had to get Lucy a new home because my granddaughter is very allergic to dogs .another good thing. My daughter will finally be free of her ridiculous hubbie.

Partlng with a pet is heartbreaking, at least you know she's gone to a good home. Tom

Sweet tribute, Andrea... Reading the title I thought the poem might be about the poet on the Soup named 'Lucy Loo.' Silly me. ~ Desi Arnaz
