Dear Poetry Soup Members-Update

I have good news! My husband Michael was able to come home from the hospital in time for his 71st birthday August 9th. He is doing better and lost 60 lbs., 40 of which was water, in the hospital. Had he waited a week longer he would have died doctors said. He is slowly recovering. I know that all your prayers help so much and I am very grateful to all of you for your prayers. Thank you so much for all your good thoughts and prayers. Love, Connie

I would like to ask for your prayers and good thoughts for my
husband Michael. He has been in the hospital for a week and
why I have not replied to all your wonderful comments on my
poetry or commented on yours. Thank you all for your kindness.

My husband’s heart is only beating at 20% of its capacity. 
He may not make it home from the hospital where he wants to 
be. I have great faith in prayer and I know that it will help. 
My daughter and I will be going to see him as soon as she gets 
off work and we will be doing reiki on him (touch healing). 
Thank you all for your support and your prayers.
