Dear God
I'm writing this letter to you overjoyed
Grateful for how the year has been
And happier that I made it to Christmas
That in itself is a miracle
I wrote to you this whole month
This is my 25th letter,
I heard that you busy this month
But on Christmas day you make time to read all letters
I wanted to personally invite you to our feast
Early enough so that we don't only call out to you before eating
Bless all those who will be gathered with us
On this special day when we celebrate
Unlike other years in the past where I'd ask for gifts
This year I only write to thank you
Thank you for always being there,
for my family everytime they needed you
