Dear Fall

Dear Fall, amaze us with your colors warm the brilliant carmine, peach, and tangerine. Weave a batik with more delicate charm that glows and glints like lustrous opaline. Bring the willful winds that chill the stale air. Blow summer’s heat to our southern sister. Fill the dry skies with nimbus clouds that flair and revitalize us with their glister. Let your winds sing a lullaby good night while white snows begin to blanket our source. We will soundly sleep dormant without blight and let Mother Nature run through her course.

I love your use of various shades of autumn here and the rhymes and flow of this is beautiful. So very well created. I especially loved “ let your wind sing a lullaby” “ summers heat to our southern sister” brilliant alliterations too. Impeccable write

This is as lovely as your radiant fall Laf. Both different and both terrific. I don't know which I like the best. I will read them both again and sleep on it and let you know, cause its 1.44am and i am getting tired. Cheers SV

Thanks Svvie. Neither actually "fits" the contest rules as the Radiant Fall is a monorhyme and this a quatrain. Yes, they both rhyme, but Tania asked for rhyme form. I suppose I could re-label either as "rhyme". Let me know what your dreams tell you. :) Sleep tight my friend! :)
