Dear Calico Cat

Dear calico cat your colors splat,
in oranges and golds and fortified blacks.
A pallet for the eyes to see your rich
fur tapestry..
The sun embraces your royalty.
How glorious is God's gift to thee.

Calico cat species are so beautiful with a mix of shades in their fur especially around the face. Most of the cats are such endearing creatures and so beautiful to look at. Indeed they are a marvel of God's creation. Beautiful small poem dear Nancy.

Such a lovely poem dear Nancy that describes the cat so well with vivid imagery. Not familiar with a Calico cat so going to look it up. Flows so well and like Inky says, very melodic. So easy on the ear when read aloud. Your cat Asher must have been very special. Really enjoyed it. Thank you for sharing. Hugs and smiles to you :):)

Nancy, your poetry conjures up a plethora of enthralling and vivid images in my head, similar to a spellbinding tapestry constructed with rich metaphors.

Dear Sotto, You are such a kind and empathetic poet. I appreciate the encouraging words. F.y.i., I owe you an apology sir. Apparently the computer was posting comments to the wrong poet's pages recently. These things happen.
