Dear calico cat your colors splat, in oranges and golds and fortified blacks. A pallet for the eyes to see your rich fur tapestry.. The sun embraces your royalty. How glorious is God's gift to thee.

Calico cat species are so beautiful with a mix of shades in their fur especially around the face. Most of the cats are such endearing creatures and so beautiful to look at. Indeed they are a marvel of God's creation. Beautiful small poem dear Nancy.

Such a lovely poem dear Nancy that describes the cat so well with vivid imagery. Not familiar with a Calico cat so going to look it up. Flows so well and like Inky says, very melodic. calico cats are pretty and almost regal in their appearance. I had a calico cat growing up named "C". Your poem brought back my memory of her. Enjoyed the read and have a pleasant day, Sara

hi Sara, I had a calico cat named Asher. She was a delicate calico and later developed asthma. She was rescued from a horse farm and then the new owner had allergies and brought her back. I was her 2nd rescue owner and she had a good life for many years. They are gorgeous cats. Thanks for your comment. I'm leaving shortly and flying out to your massive state soon to visit family.
