Dead Name

Can someone who lives in the grey areas of Life Still dazzle the soul? In university I had a crush on them. I knew their dead name But never used it. It was the hottest summer in Ottawa history. Yet I spent most of my time in the gym before my actual job started. I walked with sore muscles and a hot sultry shape. They came over to my apartment While I complained about the heat outside but not in my living room They rubbed their hands over my bare toes laying like fish in their lap. No one had made me feel so different Yet so much like myself At the same time before. Thought I couldn't grab their interest It slipped away Glitter out of my hands

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
