Dead

What more?
sure I have a tear
what for?
love a double edged sword
the loss
makes me bleed
over and over
again and again
I cling to yesterday
so that tomorrow
the torture will never end

Dear... hold on to the memories. Grief is just love with nowhere to go. Someone said that and it's so true. It's our way of keeping the loved one alive. This poem is so raw. Hope you find healing

A mentally questioning poem that holds my interest. Time seems to work both ways. Well done.

The loss of love or the death of a dear one makes us so sad. It makes the heart bleed. A poignant poem, dear Arthur.

I hear your words Arthur….death makes us cling onto yesterday and the past so we don’t have to feel the pain of loss ….until it eases! It also makes you question life and why. I hope you are ok ….Debx
