Days To Savor
J ust a lovely sunny day
A nd I'm ambling along
R iver flowing peacefully
E very sound evokes a song
D elightful is this day in May
P retty blossoms everywhere
I n my path and on the air
C reatures peeking out at me
K neeling some as if in prayer
E ase of mind and body free
T ucking memories away
T o preserve a perfect day
A ll the world is fresh and new
C alling out the busy bees
R obins picking at the ground
O nly wind--a gentle breeze
S pring is going much too fast
T urning warmer every day
I wish this lovely time could last
C ould I but keep this lovely May.
