Days Long Past (For Now Future)
Days Long Past (For Now Future)
by Cate Rock
Days long past.
They passed me in a flash.
Minutes at first then hours came...
My life so jumbled like a very mixed up game.
My eyes turned cold
and my world was hanging by a thread.
I'd always have thought I'd be better off dead.
I'd be drunk on my sorrows
and unsteady on my feet,
All up until that fateful night we'd meet.
But fate would have it's way,
And that is why were together today.
Beauty and her lover.
Together undercover.
Always my beauty in her tower,
So full of joy so full of power.
She holds my heart,
And i only hope I hold hers.
She is my new found light...and I wish to keep her.
