Daydreaming
Lying in my beach bed,
alone in thought,
as wave axes cut at the shore,
carving it to their whim,
Looking at my sandcastle
with boarded windows,
as knights on surfboards
storm the gates,
and horses in wetsuits
carrying lances
ransack and pillage it,
then set my sand castle aflame.
Soldiers run out
of the inferno,
as a red dragon
blows bubbles,
that engulf us all
and carry us
far, far away
Leaving us
in a land
called Honalee.
