Daydream

Daydream... I look outside the window I see the pink flowers, the blue birds, and the shining sun I wish I could be out there and get some things done Nothing would be as it seems if this pretty yard wasn't yours Right now I am staring and thinking of how I would love to be out there I get the push to go So I put up my hair Into a ponytail I open the door Some feeling is pushing me more To be outside I go outside I have the strength to clear my mind I get on my knees and start pulling weeds After that is done I only have one thing left to do Feed the birds They chirp pretty sounds Some fly to the ground Then finally a snap that I heard It was my mother I wake up and realize it was all a daydream
