Day One

Day one Monday, I wake up and look out the window The dark gray clouds hinting of a storm I stay in and sleep the day away Tuesday, I wake up and look out the window The dark gray clouds hinting of a storm I check for a rain coat in the closet I stay in and sleep the day away Wednesday, I wake up and look out the window The dark gray clouds hinting of a storm I want to stay in and sleep the day away My rain coat still fits I stay in and sleep the day away Thursday, I wake up and look out the window The dark gray clouds are gone I step outside Day one

Unfortunately I have to admit I have weeks that seem very similar to this... Not a good feeling. But a good poem, Byron.
