Day Off

Oh woe is me, I have me tubbles with me sweetheart
Even thou I am MOIR I have lost me rank,
I am tops in fame, but today I am not her game
She shot me down and nailed me to the cross.

Was hung out to dry in the rain, the vultures are near
Marriage vows read for better or worse I do think
I have lost my nobility and now I don’t have a salutation
She called me on the line and rolled me up in the carpet.

I have a redemption card that I have kept for while
Don’t need to set bond as I won’t be here for long
Packed a lunch, and with a snarl I gave her a hiss, no kiss
I have a ‘married sick day’ voucher, I’m gone for the day!!!!!

Let's hope absence makes the heart grow fonder. As for the message, been there, done that.
