Notes About The Poem

Dawning In the Garden of Time

Landscape is it’s most persuasive at dawn.
An unpainted garden where phrases of light
linger in a shadowy silence
visions for a new day
between rose shades
All is new again.

We never have enough time. Always flashing in front of and behind us are the past and present. We can only control the present moment while looking forward with aspirations and desires and attempting to figure out how to get there. Hanging around outside and taking in the limitless, everlasting, and immortal beauty of nature, it never goes in vain and imprints beauty on the psyche. Painting in harmony with nature allows us to express our ideas and creativity, which slows down time and makes the moments of our lives more meaningful.
