Dawn of the Grim Reaper

Grim Reaper strolls in
Stands looking down at her face
She opens an eye
Then sits up in bed, scowling
Grim Reaper slinks off next door

oooh, kind of eerie. Even the grim reaper does not want a grouch. haha. Or maybe just someone who refuses to be taken by surprise or to go without a fight! I liked it!!

Really like the way she scowls at the Grim Reaper and he "slinks" away. Very cool poem, Jack. If it is for the Sunrise contest, you have quite a creative and unique entry. Hope to see your poem in the winners' circle. Love, Carolyn
