Dawn
There was truth.
As I watched you there.
In the comfort of strangers.
Except they were not strangers.
Like a dream within a dream.
You felt yourself sinking within the fire.
One life of many, you played in all life.
Do you even have a soul to be saved?
I watch you dance around the fire.
I see your skirt has caught fire.
As you swim among the angels light.
I see some truth within your light.
Though you live beyond the edge of night.
Waiting there for your prince to come.
Dancing on the edge of time.
Dancing closer to the fire.
Giants of old have come crashing down.
The end is coming soon, hear the trumpets sound.
Waiting for the dawn to come back around.
